The Montreal Canadiens hold the record for being the oldest established hockey team in the NHL and won 24 Stanley Cup Championships (also a NHL record).
The Canadiens have possessed Lord Stanley’s Cup close to a quarter of the hockey club’s history.
Names like “The Rocket“, “Boom Boom“, and “The Flower” conjure images of great Canadiens writing the history of hockey with their talent and love of the sport.
The current roster of Names like, Price, Koivu, Ryder, Komisarek and Brisebois will be attempting to bring Lord Stanley’s Cup back to Canada for their 100th Anniversary.
The video below provided by Annakin Slayd, is an addictive video celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Montreal Canadiens. The tune is so catchy I can’t stop playing it.
