Promoting Originality in the YT Community
Modern Oracle Music and the Audio Prophecy Show aka modernoracle and their Original Music Database – (No Cover Songs) Video Responses germinated the seed for the AMPwerxMedia Channel and it’s slowly growing. Until I have viable material of my own; I will promote the Great Stuff that is currently out there with the “Original Songs of Artists Around the World” Playlist.
It’s currently comprised of Musical Talent, however it will further develop to include other forms of art and education, like tutorials, self-help shows, the graphic arts…the possibilities are endless. But one thing that will remain the same is “Originality” and independence.
YouTube allows the lowly member to have 3 playlists on their channel’s front page and I’ve broken it up by having the Main Playlist 1st; the 2nd & 3rd spots reserved for artists I feel deserve the extra publicity** and will be rotated from time to time -maybe monthly, bi-weekly, weekly – who knows. The Point being it will continually promote “Original” material from independent artists. With preference to those with lower subscription ratings.

You too can help promote the hard work of your favorite artists who have posted their craft to the YouTube Community. Here are some tidbits of information that you may find helpful or encouraging.
Aron Ching aka ForFun808 sums up his successful approach to gaining popularity with the following simple principles:
- Work hard on your videos
- Produce good quality Videos
- Make each video unique
Be true members of the YouTube Community:
- Talk to people about & comment on their work
- Establish new friendships with others at YT
- Exchange legitimate subscriptions to others’ channels
Spokesperson Andrew Lipsman of comScore reports that 2.4 billion searches were performed on YouTube this past September 1.
That being said, you may assume that by creating an account and uploading your material to such a vast market you will get bucket-loads of instant fans and recognition. Well, No. Creating a large fan/user base is still dependent upon good ‘ole fashioned networking and links from established and popular web sites and communicating regularly with others with similar interests.
Many of these artists, musicians, songwriters, playwrights et al… have exemplary content but don’t necessarily have the networking skills or SEO (search engine optimization) advantages.
